What is Geography?
Geography is simply," the science that studies the Earth's physical features, atmosphere, and resources. It is a process that deals with the study of various components of Earth such as Water, landforms, marine ecosystem, and the environment. The term Geography is derived from the Greek word "Geo"(meaning Earth) and "Graphos" (meaning to write about), explicating " the study of Earth". There are subfields in Geography consisting of Geomorphology, Climatology, Human geography, Meteorology, Economic geography, population, and political geography. Geography can also be described as a spatial science that deals with various aspects of social science (eg; history, anthropology, economics, psychology), physical science (eg; Climate and weather), and geospatial data science (eg; GIS and Remote Sensing).
